ARA-290 (Cibinetide) — Reconstitution & Gelling Notice

ARA-290 (cibinetide) is an acidic, erythropoietin-derived research peptide. As with many acidic peptides,
gelling, clumping, or incomplete dissolution may occur when reconstituted directly in neutral
diluents such as bacteriostatic water. Solvent selection, concentration, temperature, and handling technique
can all influence solubility outcomes in a research environment.

General peptide-chemistry literature notes that acidic peptides often dissolve more reliably when a
slightly basic buffer is used during the initial wetting step to improve solubility and reduce
aggregation prior to final dilution.

Consistent with these principles, some laboratory handling protocols for acidic peptides may involve the
brief introduction of a bicarbonate-based buffer (such as sterile sodium bicarbonate) during
initial wetting to gently adjust pH, followed by dilution into the selected research diluent. This practice
is referenced here solely to explain observed solubility behavior and is not a procedural instruction.

This discussion reflects general peptide-handling principles and internal laboratory experience with ARA-290.
Glow Aminos does not provide reconstitution instructions and is
not responsible for product that gels, aggregates, or otherwise changes physical form due to
reconstitution methods or handling in your laboratory.
